Obviously we all know you are supposed to wait until beta test day to find out if your most recent assisted fertility treatments have worked.
But obviously I have ZERO patience so I always test early.
Just peed on a stick and the result is......... POSITIVE!
It's early days for sure and I won't know until beta day (next Tuesday) for sure. This could be a chemical pregnancy, but I'm hopeful that it's not.
Fingers crossed everyone!
Dealing with the loss of a child is never easy, but it's even more difficult when you are an expat living far from home. Life will never be "normal" again and so now the challenge is to find my new normal. I am now back in the USA and the proud parent of two daughters, born using two different egg donors. "Frostina" and "Olea" are the loves of my life and I feel so grateful for the amazing women who donated their eggs and made my family possible.
Yay!! Stick, baby, stick!
ReplyDeleteWell, even with all the provisos, it's good news!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper excited! Can't wait to hear the beta numbers. Yay!
ReplyDeleteVisiting to wish you congrats and good luck on this second round. I have caught-up on your story and am blown away at all that has happened. They always say that us baby-loss mamas are strong, but I am more inclined to believe we are what we have to be. If we are intent on living a happy life, we need to push forward. I am really excited for you and can't wait to hear what your beta has in store for you.
